Recent studies have claimed that sea levels could rise by as much as 10.8 metres if temperatures were to increase by four degrees from pre-industrial levels. The effect on Somerset would look something like the MAP BELOW turning Pawlett Into an island just off the coast. The nearest land would be Puriton.
